Ottawa is one of Canada’s leading innovation centres and it is also the nation's capital. There is no better place to hold a forum and discussion on the intersection of Blockchain and Government. We expect strong representation from government agencies, regulatory bodies, and government service providers keen on better understanding what Blockchain technology is and how it will shape Canada moving forward.
During an impassioned speech about her home province of Alberta, Conservative MP Michelle Rempel compared the Liberal government's treatment of Alberta to "a fart in the room that nobody wants to talk about or acknowledge." Green Party leader Elizabeth May took issue with Rempel's use of the word "fart" calling it "distinctly unparliamentary." http://dowhonda.com 613 237 2777 It sounds crazy, but it is absolutely true. A few young and adventurous Government employees needed a warm ride to work, they had heard what the Shotgun Show was doing to bust the winter blahs and they asked for a lift. With the help of Dow Honda, the Premiere Honda Dealer in Ottawa, we were able to make their wish come true. Here is one review of the Odyssey: The Odyssey's interior and features are much like those of nearly every other minivan on the market. The most notable difference between the Odyssey and its competitors is its interior build quality. The seats, dash, storage compartments and trim in the Odyssey are all surprisingly well constructed. Every surface in the Odyssey looks and feels solid as a rock. The interior of the 2013 Odyssey is caver...

Top court says Ottawa broke law in financing EI Updated Thu. Dec. 11 2008 11:31 AM ET The Supreme Court of Canada says that Ottawa illegally collected employment insurance contributions for three years under the former Liberal government. The court, though, rejected union claims that Ottawa diverted money from deliberately-over-inflated EI surpluses to balance the federal budget and fund programs. In a 7-0 decision, the court ruled EI premiums were inappropriately collected between 2002, 2003, and 2005. That's when the Liberal cabinet set EI rates directly without the authorization from Parliament and the employment insurance commission, a violation of the principle of no taxation without representation. "This means that employment insurance premiums were collected unlawfull...

Sandy Hill is one of the oldest communities in the surrounding Ottawa landscape. Located east of the downtown area, Sandy Hill is the home of the University of Ottawa, many Foreign Dignitaries and Canadian Government officials. This is due to it’s proximity to the Canadian Parliament and government office located within downtown Ottawa. The population of Sandy Hill rests around 13,000 because of the fluctuation of the student population every year. The overall social landscape of this historic neighbourhood is quite diverse in culture, language, and income. One of the reasons for this is how Sandy Hill began. The area was once the resource centre for the lumber industry and therefore became the home for the lumber barons followed by the politicians and other civil servants of the period,...
